PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 30, 2017) – With a graded stakes win on his resume, Rocket Heat heads a competitive field entered in Tuesday’s $50,000 Oak Tree Sprint Stakes at the Oak Tree at Pleasanton meeting.

Rocket Heat is by Latent Heat, out of the mare Slew’s Royalty mare Enjoy the Moment, was bred by Farfellow Farms, is owned by Mike Sanchez and trained by Vann Belvoir. He has six wins in 22 starts, earnings of $340,645 and is coming off a third in the June 10 Albany.

Northern California Yearling Sale traduate Pure Comedy is by Pure Prize, out of the Comic Strip mare Comedy Girl, was bred by H & E Ranch, is owned by Auyeng, Carpenter, Desimone, Kelly, et al and is trained by B McLean. The $33,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has three wins in 14 starts, earnings of $75,275 and is coming off a seventh in a May 21 optional claimer.

Right Hand Man is by Street Boss, out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Storm Queen, was bred by Gordon Bithell, is owned by Blinkers On Racing Stable, Bennett, Wager, et al and is trained by Jeff Bonde.
